How to maximize your employee match program:
  • Learn your company’s rules, including any annual limits, if they have a preferred charity & if they offer paid time off for volunteering. Contact your HR department for your company match details.
  • Make your donation. Keep proof of your donation or volunteer time, which may require contact information of the non-profit.
  • Submit the required materials promptly to your HR department & confirm that the match was made. Typically they only require a receipt & a short form.
